We are home from our 55 day summer tour. Cannot believe its over, and can’t thank everyone who helped us along the way enough, it was an amazing tour. All of our love out to All Teeth, Heartsounds, and Hostage Calm who joined us on different parts and made it the best summer of our lives. This split includes two songs by each band and art work by Nick Steinhardt. All four songs featured on this 7” will blow you away. If you’ve loved everything these bands have done up to this point, you will be head over heels after this 7” drops on your turntable.

On a day, when I’m feeling incomplete, buried in my bedsheets. Can’t pretend, that no matter how I bend, I’m not the square peg in my circle of friends.

I’ll take whatever comforts I can get. I couldn’t tell you what it’s like to not feel separate, from everyone that I’ve ever met. I felt emptiness, I felt loneliness, now I can feel them again.

I’ve seen the look on the faces of friends, wondering where the fuck Ive been when they catch me staring at my hands again. Would you believe me if I said, that this disconnect is something that I have learned to live with?

Hey everybody!

So we have some really exciting things going on that we’d like to share. First of all, we have posted a new song called “Hand Me Downs” from our upcoming split 7” with Touché Amoré. The split is tentatively set to be released at the end of June on Panic/6131 Records, and we could not be any more excited to share a release with TA. If you haven’t heard their music, we suggest you climb out from under that rock and check them out. More details on the split (pre-orders, etc.) will be announced soon. So this is the new year...

What’s up everyone, hope everything’s cool. Just wanted to check in and say hey. 2010 has started off insanely busy for us, and it looks like there is no slowdown in sight; we really wouldn’t have it any other way. Upon finishing and recording two new songs for our split with Touche Amore we took off down the east coast and up through the midwest with our friends in a band called Transit. I know all of us had an incredible time sharing the roads with these dudes. For me it is always a huge bonus to be able to call the bands that you are touring with, friends. Using that criteria MDAM scored double this winter, because after the Transit tour we got to go to Canada with the guys in Another Breath. I can easilly say that AB are some of the most legit guys I have ever had the oportunity of meeting. Between breaking into Marine Land with our dude Randy, Playing indoor paintball, and sharing long talks with new friends; this Canadian tour was easilly my favorite we’ve done so far. Many thanks to Timmer, Glenn, Nathan, Scott, Randy, Brandon, Gabe, Dave, Pascal, and everybody else who showed us love in CA.

We are home now, enjoying some not so down down-time. We are continuing writing for the LP while playing a few cool shows in the coming months. You will be hearing a lot out of us in the next couple weeks, so please keep on your toes.
